How We Serve

The Ministries of St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church:

Worship First

At St. Christopher’s, Worship comes first with all else flowing out of our time together in Worship. Our Sunday Services are at 8:00 AM (a quiet service) and 10:00 AM (with Music). We pray Morning Prayer with the women of the church on Tuesdays via Zoom and we pray Compline weekly on Thursdays on Zoom.

Children’s Church School

The Children meet during the school year on Sundays at 10:00 for 30 to 40 minutes. Several adults take turns leading the educational piece for the week, loosely based on the readings for the day.

Episcopal 101 for Adults

Pastor Mary Ann leads the adult education between the services on Sunday at various times of the year. We also have book studies during the Lenten Season, and have recently started a book study during the Summer.

Music Ministry

The choir meets during the school year on some Wednesday evenings to rehearse the music used during the 10:00 Sunday service and for special feasts and seasons.

Women’s Prayer Breakfast

The women of the parish meet on the third Tuesday of most months to enjoy prayer, fellowship and a meal.

Outreach Efforts

To answer the concerns of St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church by responding to parishioner needs and by reaching out to our local and extended community, offering both financial and hands-on involvement.

We answer that mission through many activities throughout the year, including serving at the Lighthouse Youth Center, Prayer Shawls and Squares, Souper Sunday, United Thank Offering, Adopted Children, and SILO.
